3D Benchy
The 3D Benchy is more than just a cute tugboat—it’s the industry-standard “torture test” designed to push 3D printers to their limits. Whether you’ve just unboxed a new machine or you’re fine-tuning a specific filament, the Benchy is the go-to benchmark for assessing print quality.

3D printing is a process that turns your ideas into reality by building objects layer by layer from a digital design. Using advanced technology, a printer gradually adds material step by step until your concept becomes a fully formed model or functional part.
It allows you to watch your creation take shape in real time — transforming a simple idea into something tangible, precise, and usable.
With 3D printing, the possibilities are almost endless. You can create practical items like car parts, computer brackets, and replacement pieces for things you’ve broken around the house. You can also print model homes, toys, prototypes, tools, and so much more.
Whether you’re solving a problem, improving a design, or simply bringing a creative idea to life, 3D printing gives you the flexibility to manufacture exactly what you need.
It’s important to remember that most 3D printed objects are made by melting and fusing layers of plastic together. Because of this layered structure, proper model orientation is essential to ensure strength and durability. Positioning your design correctly during printing can make a significant difference in the final result.
With the right setup and guidance, you’ll be amazed at what you can create.
Not at all. Getting started with 3D printing is easier than most people think. All you need is a computer and a 3D printer — and we’ll help you with the rest.
We provide hands-on training to guide you through the software, machine setup, and basic operation. We also cover essential maintenance and adjustment procedures to ensure your printer continues running smoothly and producing high-quality results.
With the right guidance and support, you’ll be confidently printing your own designs in no time.
In most cases, you can be fully up and running in around six hours. Our training is designed to be practical, efficient, and easy to follow, giving you the knowledge and confidence to start printing as soon as possible.
By the end of the session, you’ll understand the software, machine setup, basic maintenance, and how to successfully complete your first prints.
There are two main ways to begin your 3D printing journey:
1. Design, Slice, and Print
Create your own model using 3D design software, prepare (or “slice”) the file using slicing software, and then print your custom creation. This route gives you full creative control and is ideal if you want to design original parts or products.
2. Download and Print (.STL Files)
If you’re not ready to design your own models yet, you can download ready-made .STL files from online libraries and print them directly. This is a quick and easy way to start printing and gain experience with your machine.
Whether you choose to design from scratch or download existing files, we’ll guide you through the entire process.
