The Creality K1 Max is a remarkable 3D printer for high-speed advanced 3D printing, and adding any upgrades makes these printers even better. The bed surface of the K1 Max has fantastic bed adhesion, but sometimes a more appropriate bed surface for your filament will give you the best chance at that perfect first layer. This Creality K1 Max PEI Build Plate is powder coated and frosted for ultimate bed adhesion and a wear-resistant plate surface.
The Creality K1 Max B-Plate Textured PEI Build Plate is designed to the exact same dimension as the stock K1 Max A-plate, but has been equipped with powder coated PEI, making it your B-plate. With both on hand, you can swap out your A-plate with the Powder coated PEI B-plate at will by simply taking one off and magnetically sticking the other directly on top. Enjoy the key benefits that make these FlexPlate beds so attractive.
Finally, just to add some awesome finishing touches, the powder-coated surface also carries the extra benefit of offering a beautifully textured surface finish. Compared to the ultra-smooth sheen of standard PEI Sheets, the finish created by the powder coating layer features a rougher, almost stippled surface. And while this may not be the ideal choice for everyone, we personally love to have the choice of a smooth or a textured surface when designing and printing various things – which of course is particularly beneficial for covers and front panels.
