1. 7-Day “Change of Mind” Returns
We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you change your mind, you are eligible for a refund or exchange within 7 calendar days of receiving your order, subject to the following conditions:
Machines/Electronics: Must be unused, undamaged, and returned in their original, unopened packaging with all seals intact.
Filament: Only eligible for return if the vacuum seal is unbroken and the original box is undamaged.
Resin & Liquids: Must be completely sealed and unopened.
Consumables & Spares (Nozzles, PTFE tubing, etc.): No refunds are offered on these items. We offer a one-to-one exchange only if the incorrect item was ordered, provided it is in its original “new” condition.
Note: For “Change of Mind” returns, all courier costs and a potential 10% restocking fee (to cover original processing and packaging) will be for the customer’s account.
2. Defective Goods & The CPA
In accordance with the South African Consumer Protection Act, if a product is found to be defective within the first 6 months of purchase, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund.
This does not apply to “Vulnerable Parts” or wear-and-tear items (see Warranty section below).
The defect must be a manufacturing fault and not caused by user error, power surges, or improper assembly.
3. Warranty Policy
FJ3 Design provides a limited warranty on hardware to ensure your peace of mind:

| Vulnerable Parts | 3 Months Limited | Nozzle modules, flat belts, glass platforms, fans, and heaters. |
| Consumables | No Warranty | Filament, resin, nozzles, and cleaning kits. |
| Product Gifts | No Warranty | Storage cards, card readers, tools (wrenches, pliers, scrapers). |
Warranty Terms:
The warranty is on a Carry-In basis. The customer is responsible for shipping the unit to our technical department.
Warranty is void if the product has been modified, tampered with, or used with third-party firmware not approved by the manufacturer.
Damage caused by “thermal runaway” due to improper user settings or physical impact is not covered.
4. How to Request a Return
To start a return or warranty claim, please follow these steps:
Contact us: Email [Your Email Address] with your order number and photos of the issue.
RMA Number: We will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
Shipping: Securely pack the item. We recommend using a tracked courier service as we cannot be held liable for items lost or damaged during return transit.
